A Radio Shuttle Pallet Rack System is a semi-automated storage solution operated alongside forklift trucks to efficiently handle inventory featuring limited product variety and high volumes per SKU.
This high-density storage system is strongly recommended for manufacturing operations, particularly within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), food, beverage, and cold chain storage sectors.
Acting as the primary storage structure, the High Density Open Face Pallet Racking System creates secure, organized channels for pallets. It facilitates the seamless travel of battery-powered radio shuttles while maximizing warehouse space and maintaining robust structural integrity.
Battery-powered radio shuttles serve as the primary transport mechanism. Positioned at the ends of the lanes by forklifts, they operate via remote control to load, unload, store, and reorganize pallets. Furthermore, the number of shuttles in use can be scaled to match specific throughput requirements.
Forklifts
Forklifts function as supporting equipment by positioning shuttles at the entrances of the lanes and transferring them across different channels as required. This synergy between forklifts and shuttles guarantees smooth warehouse operations. Additionally, this storage solution is engineered to perform in cold storage environments with temperatures reaching as low as -30°C.
The Hydglobalasrs High-Density Pallet Racking System encompasses four primary configurations: Radio Shuttle Rack, Drive-In Rack, Pallet Flow Rack, and Mobile Racking. Each of these systems delivers the following key advantages:
The Radio Shuttle Rack stands out as the premier solution for the FMCG and cold chain sectors, where both high-density storage and adaptable FIFO/LIFO inventory control are essential. It achieves an ideal harmony between storage capacity, operational speed, and system adaptability.
The Hydglobalasrs Radio Shuttle System optimizes warehouse capacity with storage depths beginning at 5 meters. It boosts handling productivity by removing the necessity for forklifts to drive directly into the storage aisles. Constructed with a durable mechanical frame and high-grade parts, the system requires very little upkeep. It delivers dependable performance across broad temperature ranges, specifically from -30°C ~ +4°C and +5°C ~ +45°C, while incorporating advanced safety features like forklift locking mechanisms and active anti-collision technology. Moreover, its user-friendly Chinese interface guarantees simple and hassle-free operation.
The Hydglobalasrs Shuttle Car utilizes plug-in polymer lithium batteries featuring imported cells and domestic assembly, all backed by CE and FCC certifications.
These power units deliver high capacity, an extended service life, zero memory effect, rapid charging and discharging, and eco-friendly performance. Rigorously tested under a 1500kg full load during uninterrupted operation, they consistently outperform conventional batteries.
The convenient plug-in design enables rapid battery replacement. Furthermore, we provide domestic contract supply paired with responsive after-sales support.
First In, First Out (FIFO)
When pallet racks offer accessibility from both ends, pallets can be loaded into one side and retrieved from the opposite side. This configuration is widely utilized in industries where strict product rotation is critical.
Last In, First Out (LIFO)
In layouts with single-side access, pallets are both loaded and retrieved from the exact same side of the racking system. This approach is commonly applied when goods are stored in large batches and strict inventory rotation is unnecessary.
Automated radio shuttle systems are typically the ideal solution in the following operational scenarios:
Warehouses operating with limited floor space
Operations storing high volumes of identical SKUs or products
Cold storage facilities where minimizing forklift travel maximizes thermal and operational efficiency
Distribution centers requiring maximum storage density
